Logo and slogan

Posted by Margaret Donohue on September 4, 2010 at 11:49 AM

When I was in graduate school I sold my fine and graphic art work.  I continued to sell my work until 1985.  One evening coming home late from work I was mugged.  My glasses were broken into my face and I fell backwards onto concrete momentarily losing my vision.  At the hospital emergency room I was told I had a mild concussion.  Following that event I was not able to differentiate colors adequately.  Although I attempted to rehabilitate my art work, I was no longer able to sell any pieces.  I continue to create fine and graphic art and give pieces to family and friends on occasion.

I created the logo of the wire framed skull with cogs in the cortex and a heartbeat line at the base of the skull in April 2010 for my business.  The original pen and ink drawing with water color is in my office in West Los Angeles, California.  A copy of the original is in my home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The slogan "Uploading intelligence...please wait." is from a profile I created on America Online in 1985.  It is original.
